INTRODUCTION

The Silver Spring church of Christ is located at 100 East Franklin, Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20901.  This congregation has been in existence for over 75 years.  We pattern our worship just like the churches in the New Testament.  We have two elders who are responsible for the affairs of the church.  We have six deacons who support the work of the elders.  All those who have been baptized into Christ according to God’s holy scripture are welcome to labor with the saints at Silver Spring.  All those who are seeking to understand what they must do to be saved are encouraged to reach out to us to learn what God’s word has to say about salvation.

The church in Silver Spring is a culturally diverse congregation with English and Spanish worship services and Bible classes.  We currently have a bilingual preacher who primarily preaches and teaches in Spanish.  We also have a preacher who preaches and teaches only in English who will be retiring soon.
